How Final Fantasy IX Should Have Gone (Part 1)

-Zidane and garnet met each other in the summoner village (after kuja dropped him there) Garner's biological mother takes him in for two years until the village gets attacked by Garland.

-Garnet/Sarah, Zidane and Garnet's mother get into the boat and flee but the storm causes Zidane to be separated from Garnet and her mother.

-Zidane winds up in Lindblums harbour and gets taking in by Baku. While Garnet and her mother wind up in Alexandria harbour and the King finds them and Garnet/Sarah's mother tells him to find the boy called Zidane and to look after Sarah before dying (but still appearing as a powerful spirit and helping in the story, actually being in a MAJOR ROLE.

-The King takes Sarah but is hesitant to bring a regular peaceful girl into a role of excessive responibility but when the Queen (who SHOULD be Beatrix, because that would have been way better, it wouldn't have been so horribly clichè like with the generic overweight and ugly Brahne, who'se very appearance is horrible clichè and sending the unfortinate implication that ugly people are evil or that She was doing all those insane things just because she was evil/greedy, veeeery weak motivation) sheds tears over how much Sarah looked like their late daughter, the king had no choice but to bring her in.

-Sarah now Garnet has her Horn removed causing amnesia and loosing most of her memories of her home and of Zidane, but still having dreams of them and of Zidane's blue eyes.

-When Zidane and Garnet have gotten older, Garnet sometimes sneaks out of the castle desiring more freedom and being curious of the dreams she's having, (due to the death of her biological daughter Queen Beatrix has become extremely overprotective of Garnet and hardly ever let's her out of the castle, but the king keeping his promise to Garnet's biological Mother, and not wanting to burden her adoptive daughter with excessive responsibility, helps her sneak out while keeping a close eye on her from a distance) meets Zidane when he's in Alexandria with Tantalus and déjà vu sets in and for the next few days Garnet sneaks out and sees Zidane, with Garnet's father being curious if this was the person Garnet's Biological mother spoke of, but before he can investigate more and tell Garnet, the king gets assainated while helping Garnet back to the castle, by Amarant who was unaware of his targets identity.

-Amarant gets arrested but when garnet confronts him, he breaks down with guilt and fear of getting executed, and Garnet takes some pity on him and Beatrix reluctantly let's him go but forbidding him from ever coming back to Alexandria and putting wanted posters of him around the place to make sure. Amarant leaves but with guilt over him killing Garnet's father (giving him a much Better story arc than the lazy, bland one we got in the game) and Beatrix puts even more security over Garnet and she is no longer able to sneak out of the castle, Zidane and Garnet don't see each other again until the kidnapping.
Here's the sequel to my FFIX review, part two is on the way.
